Mitch Steel is a pen name of a now bestselling and award-winning author who has dedicated nearly three decades of his life to personal development. Married for almost twenty years with two daughters, ‘Mitch’ has consistently reinvented himself using the power of goal setting, something he really did not understand or know how to do previously.
Hence, this blog and the book, “The 3 C’s of Succcess“. His very first book. Both the blog and book are designed to chronicle and share the many powerful lessons that proved most helpful to get him unstuck — out of depression, and launch him on a path toward “success”.
Success, of course, or SUCCCESS (with three C’s) is an important concept —one of the most important and it’s foundational to helping anyone to achieve their goals and to become a succcess!
If you wanted to become a dentist you would study dentistry. if you wanted to become a mechanic you’d get a mechanic’s certification.
However, few actually study the subject of succcess. Even fewer understand the core, 3 C’s; what they are and why they are so important.
Of course, each is thoroughly detailed in this short, little book, “The 3 C’s of Succcess”.
For reference; Mitch has been nominated by Ernst and Young multiple times for Entrepreneur of the Year, has tow-in surfed 30 foot-plus waves, coached and mentored Ph.D’s, professionals, entrepreneurs, invented multiple top selling productivity apps, explored (and in some cases surfed) amazing destinations like; China, Fiji, Bangkok, Indonesia, Peru (Machu Picchu), Nicaragua, Tahiti, Hong Kong, United Arab Emirates, Alaska. He has even competed in multiple long-distance endurance events (including multiple Ironman Triathlons). Since writing the 3 C’s, he’s authored multiple best-selling books, and is a founding partner of a multi-million dollar services company for over twenty years.
But, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows… and that’s the point.
Through it all— the ups and downs (life’s inherent messiness— the inescapable challenges for everyone) he’s managed to learn, solve, break-down, share and teach the essential mental and behavioral techniques, tricks, adaptations and/or “hacks” that have now touched tens of thousands of people around the world.
Mitch’s real passion lies in helping others to get unstuck; to reach their potential, to help them push through their challenges and self-imposed boundaries, to properly set and achieve their most important goals.
Perhaps, above all, he loves to challenge the status quo— whether it’s currently accepted practices for productivity and goal achievement or finding new and exciting technologies, subjects to learn or goals to set for himself in order to push his own comfort zone.
Aristotle once claimed that wisdom is equal measure experience plus reflection. Everything you will read in this little book is based upon his personal experience. And, in it, you will find an equal measure of experience plus reflection (with a little scientific research mixed in). These are the lessons, strategies and principles that have helped and continue to help tranform and improve his life.
